Toulouse-Lautrec vintage art poster - 22.6"×32.3" (57.5×82cm)

This is a vintage art poster by Henri Toulouse-Lautrec featuring Jane Avril (1868-1948), a french dancer. The original poster dates from 1892 and is hard to find and unaffordable. For sale here is a vintage reprint most probabely from end 70ties (as it is from a colletion of posters that seemd to be untouched since the early 80ies).

The poster is printed onto poster paper with the usual sings of handling.

Henri Marie Raymond de Toulouse-Lautrec-Monfa (24 November 1864 - 9 September 1901) was a French painter, printmaker, draughtsman, caricaturist and illustrator whose immersion in the colorful and theatrical life of Paris in the late 19th century allowed him to produce a collection of enticing, elegant, and provocative images of the modern, sometimes decadent, affairs of those times.
