This is a beautiful silkscreen-lithography art poster by Dutch Karel Appel featuring an artwork with colorful and abstract shapes and advertising an exhibition at the Galerie Ariel in Paris in 1977.

The poster is in good condition with signs of handling along the borders.

Christiaan Karel Appel (1921 - 2006) was a Dutch painter, sculptor, and poet. He was one of the founders of the avant-garde movement CoBrA in 1948. He was also an avid sculptor.
