Louis Rodolphe Salis (29 May 1851 - 20 March 1897) was the owner of Le Chat Noir, which was a nineteenth-century entertainment establishment, in the bohemian Montmartre district of Paris.
The poster is in used condition with uncoated paper, color stains, signs of handling along the border, a taped tear (9cm) & missing paper at the right border.
