This is an original art poster advertising the Fotostiftung Schweiz. The exhibition "Drei Welten" featured Barnabas Bosshard, who is the artist of the image on the poster. "Samba-Schule von Magueira, Rio de Janeiro" was taken in 1992.
Bosshart, Barnabás (* 21.5.1947, † 12.6.2020) was a Swiss photographer who started his carrier as a fashion photographer. Since 1980 he lived and worked in Brazil. He was drawn by the clash of beauty and violence, joy of living and desperation, and poverty and welfare.
The poster is in near-mint condition.
