This is an original art poster for an exhibition in Quedlinburg, Germany (former DDR) in 1988. it features a painting by Alexej Javlensty who was one of the four artists of the group "die Blaue vier", a quartet of expressionistic painters in the former area of Weimar.

The poster is in used condition with signs of former montage as well as some waving at the left upper edge.

Alexej Georgewitsch von Jawlensky (13 March 1864 - 15 March 1941), was a Russian expressionist painter active in Germany. He was a key member of the New Munich Artist's Association (Neue Künstlervereinigung München), Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider) group and later the Die Blaue Vier (The Blue Four).
